Yoga at Nana House is not about performing - it’s about becoming. It’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise of daily life. At Nana House, yoga is a return to self, a sacred union with the part of us that has always been steady, true, and whole, no matter how life unfolded. 

Tina's  Vinyasa flow is intuitive and immersive, guided by sound, scent, and sensation, offering space for all levels to explore movement in a way that feels deeply personal. It’s a chance to reconnect with your body, your breath, and your inner compass.

​Morning Yoga Flow (energizing): Focus on morning sequences that gently wake up the body, activate digestion, and set the tone for the day. Include poses that open the chest, stretch the side body, and activate the core,  “Sun Salutations,” “Cat-Cow,” “Gentle Twists,” and “Pranayama” to balance the body and mind, and help with morning digestion.


Evening Restorative Class (evenining relacxation): After a noursihing day, a restorative class would be perfect. Think about deep hip openers, seated forward bends, and gentle twists that assist digestion. Evening classes will be a mix of breathwork, Yin Yoga and meditation.


Food as Yoga Practice: You could weave mindful eating practices into your yoga flows - this can be as simple as teaching participants to tune into their senses and be present with the meal. The idea could be that every food choice they make mirrors the way they approach their yoga practice: nurturing, mindful, and energizing.​​​​

At Nana Retreats, food is not just fuel- it’s a love language. Each vegetarian dish is made with a lot of enthusiasm and love from our lovely chef  Geronima She chooses locally sourced ingredients, full of color, flavor, and intention.

By thoughtfully sourcing our ingredients and minimizing food waste, we create a nurturing atmosphere where guests can unwind, knowing that every bite they take supports both personal wellness and broader social initiatives.​

Each meal is designed to support your yoga practice and help you feel balanced, nourished, and rejuvenated. We work directly with local farmers to bring you food that’s not only good for the body but also good for the planet. Expect organic, sustainably grown vegetables, herbs, and locally sourced proteins.

 

Energizing breakfasts with fresh fruit, granola, smoothie bowls, and herbal teas.
Snacks and a lot of water and tea will be provided during the day.


Soothing dinners with hearty soups, veggie stews, and locally sourced mains, all crafted for mindful digestion.

This is not your typical retreat space—it is a lovingly restored home filled with stories, natural textures, and soft light. Wooden ceilings, stone walls, and blue shutters create a cozy, rustic elegance that instantly grounds you.

 

The house offers five uniquely designed rooms, each filled with character and comfort. At Nana House, each room is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, charm, and a deep sense of peace. Whether you are coming solo or with a friend, they have a space that will feel just right for you.

  • Shared Twin Rooms: Perfect for friends or solo travelers open to connecting—two single beds, shared bathroom.

  • Private Room (Single or Double): A peaceful space just for you (or to share with a partner/friend), with a double bed and shared bathroom.

 

At the heart of the house is the intimate yoga space. Bathed in natural light and infused with calming energy, it’s where they gather to move, breathe, and tune inwards. Lounge by the private pool, share nourishing meals in the open kitchen or simply lie in the grass surrounded by fig trees and wildflowers. Nana House holds space for whatever you need—whether it is connection or quiet, movement or rest.​​

Whether you're an intermediate or advanced surfer, Felix will take you to Ericeira's prime surf spots, ensuring you catch the best waves suited to your skill level. His local knowledge guarantees an authentic and exhilarating surfing adventure.​

Unleash your creativity in a hands-on ceramic workshop led by Marie at MATE Ceramics.  In her welcoming studio in Ericeira, you'll learn fundamental hand-building techniques to craft your own functional pottery pieces, such as mugs and bowls. This workshop offers a peaceful and inspiring environment to connect with your artistic side.

Enhance your retreat experience with holistic healing sessions available in Ericeira. Local wellness centers offer a variety of therapies, including Ayurvedic and deep tissue massages, as well as sound healing sessions using instruments like Tibetan singing bowls. These treatments aim to dissolve physical and emotional blockages, promoting relaxation and well-being. ​
