Our daily surf sessions are tailored for those who have been longboarding for a while or shortboarders willing to explore something new. Led by passionate coaches ready to nurture your skills and confidence.
Our team will share insights on wave reading and surf techniques and help you longboard with ease.
With video recordings of your surf sessions, you'll have the opportunity to see your progress from a different perspective. Our coaches will review clips with you, highlighting your strengths and areas for improvement, to help you understand your technique and develop greater awareness in the water.

Beyond the waves, engage in calming yoga and meditation to enhance your connection to body and mind. Gourmet local food, cozy accommodations, and a vibrant community await you.

Enhance your longboard journey with yin yoga (deep stretching sessions) and Vinyasa (dynamic flows) that honor your body’s natural rhythm. The intuitive Yoga invites you to explore movement through sound, scent, and sensation - creating space for all levels to connect deeply with themselves and the ocean’s pulse.

Tinas Yin Yoga sessions are a meditative, slow-paced practice designed to lovingly stretch your connective tissues, enhance joint mobility, and cultivate profound relaxation. Perfect for longboarders, Yin Yoga targets the hips, hamstrings, and lower back - areas often tight from hours on the water. Complementary, the Vinyasa sessions are dynamic, breath-led flows that build strength, balance, and focus-perfect for energizing the body before a day on the waves.
During these sessions, you’ll experience a quiet space for reflection - where breathwork and sensory awareness interweave - nurturing a feeling of being centered, relaxed, and connected to the ocean’s energy.

João was born and raised on the Portuguese coastline, passionate about all kinds of wave riding, and a longboarder at heart.
He’s the owner of Ride & Glide Surf School - the first school in Portugal to specialize in longboard surfing. They teach people how to surf, and surfers how to longboard.
​
João has traveled the world chasing the best longboard waves — from Costa Rica and Mexico to California, he’s done it all.
A true Ribeira d’Ilhas local, there’s no one better to guide you through your longboard progress than Joao.

Tucked away in the green hills of Ericeira, Nana House is a soulful Portuguese farmhouse where warmth, charm, and calm come together. This is not your typical retreat space - it is a lovingly restored home filled with stories, natural textures, and soft light. Wooden ceilings, stone walls, and blue shutters create a cozy, rustic elegance that instantly grounds you.
The house offers five uniquely designed rooms, each filled with character and comfort. At Nana House, each room is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, charm, and a deep sense of peace. Whether you are coming solo or with a friend, they have a space that will feel just right for you.

Lounge by the private pool, share nourishing meals in the open kitchen or simply lie in the grass surrounded by fig trees and wildflowers.
